This is it: the final hurrah for the store! It will be a very fun time full of reminiscing, celebration and wonderful clothes.
The party will include tasty treats and bubbly beverages, new clothes from Clu, Utility Canvas, Neesh, Feral Childe, Renewable Jewels by Jami Ruben-Mark and the Clothing Swap. You can stop by just to say hi (or bye…), shop the new clothes or participate in the swap. You can “shop the swap” even if you are not bringing anything to swap!
There have been a lot of questions about the swap. Here are some answers. If your question isn’t addressed here, please email it to pam@fivefigscouture.com.
1) Please bring up to FIVE Five Figs only clothing items and TWO pairs of Five Figs shoes. Less is fine. They should be gently worn (and dry cleaned and pressed) if worn at all. They must be priced and have your name/contact information on a tag on the garment. I suggest no more than $100 per garment but less is better! I will have plenty of hangers and racks for your use.
2) The money exchanged for these items will be between you, the customers. Five Figs will not be involved so please bring cash or checks for payment. Credit cards will not be accepted for these transactions.
3) The swap will be from 4-8 pm. If you can not stay, you can leave the clothes at the store for the evening but you will need to appoint someone to be in charge of getting you your money! Pam will be in the store starting at 2:00 for your drop-off convenience. If you can only stay for a few hours and need to leave, you can take your clothes with you at any time.
4) Clothes not picked up by 8 pm June 2 at Five Figs will be donated to a local charity.
5) Linda McGinley will be here for your alteration needs.

Today we got a few pieces of jewelry from our favortite Sarah McGuire Studios! Her work is out of Chicago. Her jewelry is the definition of understated elegence. She finds the balance between modern lines and a natural aesthetic. Her work highlights a grown up femininity that looks great on everyone who wears it. We only have a few pieces, but come and check it out, it is the perfect little gift to buy yourself for summer. Or possibly a great graduation present! See you soon:-)
